The Bait system Treatment
Baiting systems are highly effective measures used to intercept further termite infestation. They provide long term prevention through a system of monitoring stations that installed around the structures to attract colonies approaching your home. Bait systems are environmentally friendly and are the choice of homeowners. The bait poses very little risk for kids, environment and pets. The key benefits of using bait systems:
The Soil Treatment
In Victoria a soil treatment is most common for treating subterranean termites. Also known as a treated zone. This is the most labour-intensive treatment that involves trenching, drilling and injecting in concrete areas. The termiticide is handprayed into to the trench, backfilled and treated again so it soaks the soil. The concrete holes are injected with the termiticide and the holes are filled with cement. These treatments usually last up to 8 years and an annual inspection is recommended.
